So, I thought I’d just put some feelers out there, I’d personally like to see the option to have major European airlines at Sydney such as Lufthansa, KLM, Air France, Iberia and the such. I understand none of them fly there but both Air France and KLM used to a fair few years back and it would be a nice little extra to spice up the long haul liveries. Plus, with the current wet lease deal Finnair have going on with Qantas, their A330s are bobbing about down there and would be nice to see in-game.
You can get AF and LH A350s at SYD. For KLM and Iberia, the issue is that their fleet doesn’t have the range to fly all the way there, and since there are no real flights with stopovers in WoA, I don’t see this changing soon
Should have mentioned within the initial post but if it could be an option like BA using Singapore or Hong Kong as KLM used to do. Would add a bit more variety. Would be good to vice versa it too with the likes of Virgin Australia and Air New Zealand potentially being available in Singapore for LHR.
Yeah but I think that it would be better to wait until we have legitimate flights with stopovers in the game. Right now, even the BA flights to SIN look like BA has a hub in Singapore, and it is not just a stopover. You can even somehow get a BA A321neo from Sydney, which makes absolutely no sense. When that’s resolved, maybe it’s gonna happen? But there’s still the question of which stopover to use for airlines that have never flown the route?
I like my BA A321. Looks silly next to a Qantas 738 and I love it . Agreed though, would allow for more diversity if we ever see stopovers.
