Supersonic commercial airliner. Shortly used as a passenger aircraft and mail carrier before being used as a testbed for various things.

:chart_increasing: Why should this aircraft be added?
I think it would add more variety. With a second supersonic option for your own fleet, and a new manufacturer. It’d also introduce some new airlines/operators to the game. I know it is a very controversial jet. However it is still one of the most iconic aircraft in aviation. It’s rare that it gets much attention and/or love. And World of Airports would be just the place to honor this great bird of metal.

A video I watched about it from one of my favourite Youtubers. He does use bad language at times but it’s a very in-depth look at what really was a quite terrifyingly terrible plane.

I prefer to say she wasn’t perfect :face_holding_back_tears:. Yes she had a lot of issues and bad sides. But still it’s a magnificent achievement of aviation. Taking into account in what condition the USSR was and what they managed to build is astonishing.

I do believe that the devs have said that they would not add Russian planes to the game, and I assume this includes Soviet ones as well.

Was about to say Antonov planes are in the game but Antonov is based out of Ukraine (used to be USSR).

Hot take but I wouldn’t mind missing this one since we already have the concorde and realistically we’d only get 1 special arrival (from Aeroflot). We need the 707, MD80s and L1011 in the game before this one.

Of course these aircraft take way higher priority. For special arrivals you could also do the Tupolev design bureau, NASA… it’s not many, but at least more than just one.

Though I would rather prefer to have a Concordski fleet than a Concorde one. I just like it better, flaws and all :slight_smile:

At least with the war in Ukraine, whenever that ends (if ever), there may be a chance to see this
