Why should this airline be added?
Founded in 1991 by some of the former employees of the loss-making East German airline Interflug that was dissolved in 1991 by the East German, now united German government, after they failed to sell it. It was founded operating 5 ex-Interflug IL-18’s in order to conduct charter flights from Berlin to holiday resorts on the Mediterranean coast, however, it struggled to compete with new charter carriers migrating into the now free Eastern block, who all were operating newer, quicker and more efficient jet aircraft leading the airline to lease 2 Fokker 100s from TAT European Airlines in 1992 but it still struggled to compete and had to deal with the issue of its legacy as well, being a reminder to a lot of people of the East German State. It filed for bankruptcy in late 1994 after losing several investors.I’ve included this airline as its another Fokker 100 operator and had a snazzy silver livery which would be cool to see at the playable airports in Europe, especially BRI.
