Why should this livery be added?
In 2007, Thomas Cook AG and MyTravel Group agreed to merge their operations, forming a new company called Thomas Cook Group PLC which retained the Thomas Cook name. From this merger the airline gained 3 A321-200s that MyTravel had leased and repainted them into the Globe scheme seen at the top which was the livery at the time. In 2009, a fourth aircraft joined the fleet having previously been leased by Turkish Airlines. In 2013, Thomas Cook received the first of the many A321s it had ordered from Airbus in the new grey livery with the Sunny Heart logo, first introduced in 2013 to replace the aging 757-200s. However, during this time the airline was receiving aircraft from other Thomas Cook members such as Scandinavia and Condor which is why a lot werenโt painted into the final livery and still retained the blue at the airlines collapse in 2019. They were a regular fixture at INN alongside the 757 and were also seen at many Mediterranean airports as well as the Canary Islands and Funchal. They are my favourite aircraft type in this livery which I have liked for many years, thereโs something about the blue and yellow that speaks holiday to me, and it would be a pleasure to see them added into the game to serve alongside the A330-200 that currently is available.
