Will the New Ui Help us change name without emailing devs, seems they have trouble on their side.
That is a feature that I think will come in the future. And it’s a highly suggested and wanted feature.

But if you do want to change your name, how would you?
It’s hit or miss right now. I had my name changed, @FredOscAir had some trouble getting it done more recently. I suspect they’re polishing off the feature and not accepting new change requests because it’s full steam ahead on 3.0.
I can tell you as someone who did get a name swap it’s imperfect. The old name will show up randomly on planes you send out and accept from others, for me it’s: AeroApollo and Aplllg (yeah with a typo I think 
) and I’ve seen other folks I share planes with I have to kind of memorize “both their names”.. hoping that all goes away with the rollout of that larger request.
For now, use the “Copy ID” in the in game menu and share that with folks, as that’ll be consistent regardless.

I expect v3.0 to be released either tomorrow or the 2nd of april (given the fact that beta has been handed out and the mods have created v3.0 topics).
I would find it amazing when they release it on the 1st of april tbh.

Please don’t speculate on release dates, the devs said in the devblog they expected it to be Q1 but things can change. When people speculate you tend to find people take it seriously. Making the threads for 3.0 also doesn’t mean a release is imminent, as per an accompanying modblog that was made a couple of days ago.
The devs will release the update when it is ready to be released.

It is released, when the update is showing on Android or iOS.
Until then, I stay grinding SP’s to get all the real life routes asap

I’m also taking the opportunity to collect the golden planes. (Even if I go into the store every two hours to see if the update has come out hahaha).

Change name is feature asked a lot. If i look at orangeAir email it look promising that it will come in future. On the other hand what the devs worked on dont guarantee it will be ever released
For now possibility via support is also closed because devs are working on special feature that will allow players to do it by themselves.

Probably happened too recently to be in 3.0 but it’s gonna be interesting to see how long it takes for us to get the new Korean Air livery in game

Yeah but don’t take that as the near future. There’s a lot of stuff higher on their priority list I’m sure
