What is your suggestion?
As a end-game player, I have amassed around 300-400 player contracts across 3 Hubs. Currently, after a player accepts one of my requests (or I accept their plane), the first transition is always easy. But sometimes, players give up or get busy, etc, and that contract sits indefinitely.
When I first send out the request for a player contract there is a timer that is visible that says how many days it’s been without an accept or cancel.
I would like to see this extended so it’s available in every player contract at the current stage.
How would it work in the game?
Tap any plane with a player contract.
Tap the (i) to bring up the info display.
Tap Contract.
Below the “Connection: Username” a new entry is included:
Last Activity: (number of days/hours)
Explain how this would be implemented from a gameplay or UI perspective.
The timer would begin when the plane is available for a landing.
The timer would end When the connection player completes the pushback operation on that plane.
Ultimately if you reset the timer any sooner, there is no guarantee your plane is ever going to be handled.
Why is this a good idea?
What improvement would this bring? Better usability, realism, fun factor, accessibility?
I definitely have contracts that have sat for weeks. Those players may never come back, and those planes would be better served by some other active user.
The only option available to me would be to track this in some sort of spreadsheet by hand, which I don’t have the energy to do
