ATR72-500 (Note: VASCO exclusively operates ATR72 aircraft for short regional routes.)

:pushpin: Why should this airline be added?
VASCO, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Vietnam Airlines, plays a crucial role in providing regional connectivity across southern and remote areas of Vietnam, especially in the Mekong Delta and offshore islands. It is one of the most important domestic commuter airlines in Southeast Asia.
Reasons to include VASCO in World of Airports:
• Expands Vietnam’s regional network, supporting realistic traffic for small-to-medium airports like Ca Mau (VVCM), Rach Gia (VVRG), Con Dao (VVCS), Can Tho (VVCT), and Phu Quoc (VVPQ).
• Brings diversity in gameplay by operating short-haul ATR72 routes that simulate regional feeder services.
• Enhances realism for Vietnam-based airports, where VASCO is the primary and sometimes only operator on certain routes.
• Perfect fit for ATR-based airport operations, such as INN, NGO, or future expansions to VVCT and VVCS in WoA.

:world_map: Unique Features or Challenges
• VASCO operates into challenging, short-runway airports such as Con Dao, surrounded by sea and mountains.
• Weather conditions in the Mekong Delta and coastal islands frequently require manual approach or visual flying skills.
• VASCO plays a critical role in essential air service, transporting medical supplies, officials, and locals to isolated communities.

This is a rather interesting airline, it’s just a shame that the information about their fleet is so fragmented and incomplete. Furthermore, most of their fleet consists of aircraft not yet available in WoA, but I would also like to see VASCO in the game in classic mode in the future.
