What to do with a Concorde?

Hi,

just received the concorde in LHR and sent it to teddythefire in IAD, but then I recognised that the Concorde is very bad with costs for inspection and what I get for a roundtrip.

Is it useful to run the Concorde or is it more advisable to sell that beauty of a plane ?

Isnt maintenance excused when you get 100% on the leanding mini game

Concorde is not earning plane, it is just cool to have one.

If you have enough money then you can for sure run it and just have one of the most exclusive plane in this game or you can sell it, when it is BRAND NEW then it give 1.1mln, when its used then defienietly bit less money.

It is more profitable to sell and buy other planes, but for lot of players there is no chance to get this plane again

I just got my first CONC at LHR. Was having the same thoughts as you.

Now what?

If I had a reliable player to send it to
 we could make some XP.

₩ shouldn’t be an issue in IAD or LHR where you can gain a CONC. Please don’t sell it. You can always make more ₩ but cannot unsell the plane.

The real question is which livery should you buy for it?

100% only adds 1 maintainance points, not really worth it unless you are doing short routes

I personally sent my LHR CONC to PRG. It’s one of only 2 or 3 L planes IIRC that can go LHR → PRG so it’s nice to have that option for connections.

In terms of making it profitable, buy a few B77Ws to pay for it haha!

Oh fair enough

  1. Do not sell it, it’s too rare and eventually you’ll have more Wollars than you need. You probably won’t have the 1.000 gold very soon to rebuy it tho, unless you’re planning to buy gold with real money to support the devs (which is totally fine, I buy as much as I can afford IRL);
  2. Send it to BRI to make newbies happy. I totally freaked out when I was starting to play and got my first one;
  3. Buy a fleet of other planes to pay for its costs, and begin to understand why they don’t fly any of those in real life anymore.

BRI’s runway is too short, won’t be able to handle it. I tried if I could re-route it for @Jamesonplanes

That’s fine :slightly_smiling_face:

That’s weird because it should be able to handle all L planes.

Keep it, looks sick plus bragging rights. Probs get one or two 77ws to support maintenance costs

Sorry, not possible to route to BRI, so @Teddythefire keeps the contract.

No. It saves 1 maintenance point. If you got perfect landings every time it would need dramatically less maintenance but not cancelled.

You all are correct, I’ll keep it for fun and being a one of a kind plane.

 and for maintenance reasons
 I buy up to three new B77W per day, a big maintenance is “just” one day of savings :wink:
