I have just got up to 10 golden planes, and would love to purchase a further airport, but I’m unsure of which one, IAD, NGO or SAN. Anyone have any suggestions? I’m looking for something where I can fill it up with lots of heavy aircraft, and something with a fun layout.
Washington is a good option as it has 2 active runways 1 for landing and 1 for takeoff where you can get a nice flow of traffic there. It also has a lot of stands for large aircraft and has the biggest cargo stands I seen so far.

For mining it must always be IAD…you can easily fill it up with upto 15 large aircraft and earn loads of silver planes per week to convert to gold planes.
And I would say everyone would have the same opinion.

Save up more GP and go for Muscat, the most fun and challenging airport I have played. Although do not take my word for it as I have not logged onto it much in post 2.0, so could be very hard to advance.

But overall Washington is definitely the choice, good amount of all stands and amazing for SP grinding

IAD is the best overall for mining, san is very pretty but awful gameplay, ngo is sort of a balance, and is pretty large. I would probs go for iAd
Both runways for takeoff has slowed down MCT a bit after the update.

IAD is the most ideal choice for you to earn your investment back ASAP as said in the previous replies. The airport is really efficient.
IAD will have approximately 180 workers if you unlock all stands and reach the max level with the free three workers, which is the most among all airports to allow you deal with many large jets.
However, I need to point out that to maximize the potential in IAD you may have to purchase the Premium Pass which will cost you 110 GPs, which is significantly more expensive than other airports. But you will have 20 extra ground staffs that still worth the investment.

I havent bought the premium pass. What it does is gives you a massive fleet but for IAD having more contracts is the key.

I play all the airports in turn as fast as possible to unlock more. Whichever I like, I’ll go back there and play it. Strategy: few contracts approx. 30-40 preferably M and as close as possible to the airport.
I save my GP to unlock planes in the store.
