I’m at BKK. Have F, E, and C planes. F and E planes are favourited and have configured Approach tower to land planes in G, F, E, D, C… order.
But if I don’t assign stands manually, it uses my F stands to land C planes and leaves my F planes for last because they don’t have available stands. I want my F planes (Favourited) to land first.
Have you also configured the delivery manager for the order you wish? That one assigns stands, the approach manager then gives landing clearance to the assigned planes.
What!? I’ve been playing for years and just realized the Delivery Manager also has an order configuration! Thanks. Will test again later. Thank you for answering.
@LucaM Oh! Ok. Looks like it slipped my “radar” (you see what I did there?).
I thought the new Scheduling system was designed for the problem that I had, but from what we talked about here, it’s not for that. Can you help me understand the new scheduling system?
It will also help with this problem - instead of simply prioritizing categories, you will be able to deactivate stands for certain categories. Now if you have priority for F planes, once the manager “runs out” of those (all of them are already assigned or flying), it will start to also assign other planes to the same stands (so C class plane might still end up in a F stand eventually).
With the scheduling system, this won’t happen - the stands will only be used for the categories you select and no others.
The primary function of the system is obviously scheduling contracts to specific stands, so you will be able to decide in advance where a plane will go, even if it hasn’t returned from its destination yet.
