Livery Details
The 1970s World Airways livery for the 747-200C

Why should this livery be added?
World Airways operated 3 of these beasts from 1973 until 1983 when they went onto new owners with the airline focussing on Douglas and McDonnell Douglas types. The 3 were able to quickly be converted from cargo to pax at the whim of whichever customer required them, these including Braniff, Korean, Pan Am, Malaysian, El Al and VIASA amongst others. They sometimes wore a hybrid livery with their operator but the majority of their time was spent in these colours. The airline also used them to operate their own charter flights. It would be an excellent addition to the fantastic new 747-200 model as a special for the airline, having been seen across the globe.
