I absolutely LOVE this game. It has quickly earned a spot in my all time favourites, along side Unmatched Air Traffic Control, Call of Duty Mobile, Papers Please and Diablo Immortal. There are tons of little animations that are both adorable and cool to see, the game is very well optimised, the background music is pleasant without being repetitive or overbearing, the overall audio and graphic design is really well put together and it’s overall a very fun game that I’ve sunk a lot of hours into. I kind of wish there was a steam version to play on PC and Steam deck so I can play this game on a bigger screen ;).
A few things I’d love to see added:
- More flexibility and customisability for your fleet: Right now, the options for personalising your aircraft are fairly basic. Adding player or airline names to liveries, plus more patterns and windshield visor designs, would be a huge win.
- Additional mini games: There are currently three mini games (landing, parking, and deicing). I’d love to see a couple more, like takeoff and pushback. And credit where it’s due: the parking mini game retains your sloppy parking job rather than auto-correcting it, so you can admire just how badly you did. It’s oddly entertaining.
- Cross airport unlocks: Purchases currently apply only to a single airport. I learned this the hard way after spending a little bit of money on items, only to find I couldn’t transfer them. Shared unlocks for aircraft and patterns across airports would make purchases feel far more worthwhile.
- Fix the taxi lines: airports such as Innsbruck, the aircraft taxi off the centre line and nearly into the grass.
- The fire trucks pop in and out of existence, whereas the rest of the vehicles fade in and out smoothly.
- The capability to adjust takeoff and landing directions.
Overall I’d rate it a 4.7/5.
This is easily one of the best airport games on mobile, full stop. The polish, the smooth performance, the addictive gameplay loop, it all just works. The single-airport purchases and limited customisation keep it from being a perfect 5, but honestly those feel like minor gripes compared to how much enjoyment I’ve gotten out of this thing.
Definitely recommend playing this game, whether you’re an aviation nerd or just looking for a relaxing but engaging time-killer. Download it, park some planes (badly), thank me later.
