World of airports payment access issue for pakistan and other countries

WORLD OF AIRPORTS PAYMENT ACCESS ISSUE FOR PAKISTAN AND OTHER COUNTRIES
Today I want to speak seriously about something important.
Many players suggest that I should buy Golden Planes or premium aircraft. I appreciate the suggestion, but please understand something.
In countries like Pakistan, not everyone has access to credit cards or international MasterCard services. Many of us use local payment platforms such as EasyPaisa or JazzCash. We have money. We are willing to support the game. But the payment system does not support us.

If large global games like PUBG Mobile and Call of Duty Mobile, Operated by Tencent, can provide alternative purchase options through platforms like Midasbuy where players can top up using local payment methods, then why cannot World of Airports provide similar solutions?
This is not about being free to play.
This is about equal access.
When payment systems only support credit cards, it unintentionally creates a gap between premium players and players from countries with limited banking access.
We love this game.
We want to buy Golden Plane coins.
We want to paint our aircraft with beautiful liveries.
We want to support the developers.
But please give us a fair chance.
All players are equal.
All players deserve equal opportunity.
If the development team truly wants global growth and higher ranking on Google Play, then expanding payment accessibility should be a serious consideration.
We are not asking for free planes.
We are asking for fair access.
Thank you.

You can only buy gp through in-game purchases, otherwise you can’t

Thanks for the info Max Neo I understand now. So the only way to get GP is through in-game purchases, no other options at all?

You can convert 1500 Silver Planes into 1 Golden plane and 10000 into 10 golden plane i think

Applicable for android:

You can use google play credit which you can use in the in game store.

I dont know if it possible to buy play credit via vouchers in Pakistan but that might be an option.

Keep in mind that WoA is created by a small dev team.

I already know that we can convert 1500 Silver Planes into 1 Golden Plane and 10000 into 10 Golden Planes. That part is clear to me.

But my topic in the forum is different. I am talking about purchasing Golden Planes directly with real money. I do not want to wait that long for conversion.

In many Asian countries, not everyone has a credit card for in game purchases. That is why I suggested adding proper third party platforms like Midasbuy, where players can pay through local payment methods such as Easypaisa, enter their player ID, and receive the exact amount of currency.

I am not discussing conversion. I am discussing payment accessibility. I hope this makes my point clearer.

Nonogivenyet, I understand your suggestion about Google Play credit. However, that is exactly the issue I am discussing. In Pakistan, Google Play vouchers are not easily available, and many players do not have access to international payment cards. I have also spoken to some players from China in the Facebook group, and they mentioned that Apple or Google Play credit is not always a workable solution there either. So this is not just a single-country issue. That is why I am suggesting more accessible local payment options, so players from different regions can have equal access. This is not a complaint, just a concern about fairness and accessibility.

Nonogivenyet, I understand that for some players this may not be an urgent issue. But for others who do not have access to these payment methods, waiting is not really a solution. That is why I am raising this concern now. I believe accessibility should not depend on how long someone can wait, but on providing fair options for everyone.

Hello,

Thank you for raising this topic in a serious and constructive way. We truly appreciate that you and other players are willing to support the game.

We completely understand that in some countries, access to international payment methods such as credit cards or MasterCard is limited, and many players rely on local services like EasyPaisa or JazzCash. We recognize that this is a real limitation for some members of our community.

However, as a small independent game studio, we do not have the resources to integrate and maintain local payment systems for multiple countries.

It’s important to understand that supporting local payment methods is not just about technically enabling a new payment option. It also requires:

• Ongoing legal compliance with each country’s financial regulations

• Handling local taxation rules

• Managing payment disputes and reversals

• Meeting consumer protection requirements

• In many cases, establishing a local legal entity

These processes are complex, expensive, and legally sensitive. For this reason, we rely entirely on Google Play and the Apple App Store for payments. They handle:

• Payment processing

• Regional compliance

• Local tax collection

• Legal responsibility

• Fraud protection

• Refund management

This allows us to focus on developing and improving the game instead of managing international financial regulations and legal risks.

We understand this may not be the ideal answer, but it is currently the only sustainable and legally safe solution for a studio of our size.

We truly value players from Pakistan and other regions, and we hope that over time, app store ecosystems will continue improving local payment accessibility.

Thank you again for your support and understanding.

Kind regards,

World of Airports Team :airplane:

Thank you, Charlie, for your detailed and professional explanation. I understand the legal and financial limitations you mentioned, and I appreciate that you acknowledged the challenges faced by players in countries like Pakistan.
Even if the solution cannot be applied immediately, I hope that over time, app store systems and payment options will become more accessible for all players. Thank you for taking the time to read and respond to my post.

I didn’t see it mentioned (or I missed it) and I’m sure you would have, so I guess this is more of a curiosity: do they not sell Apple and Google gift cards in Pakistan? The ones you can buy for cash at a drugstore to put that money in your Apple or Google account?
