haha funny! thank you!
i am looking for an A321 that has lots of range and makes alot of money but isnt like 1.4B
- A321NY
- A321NX
- A321N
also explain which one is better, thank you for voting!

Well they all have different use cases. The N is short range trunk routes, the NX is thin midrange routes, and the NY is thin long haul routes. What routes do you want to send this plane on?
And the profit graphs (minus A21NY, which is just an extension of the other two) can be found here:
across the atlantic (and i know i could just compare and things but you guys may know things i dont which could be useful…
That narrows it down to the nx and ny. But what airport are you operating out of, and which do you want to fly into? E.g. IAD to LHR and INN
And for what it’s worth both will probably work just fine for most routes, they are extremely similar aircraft. I use the NX not the NY despite being slightly less profitable , just cause I couldn’t be bothered to also get the NY when it came out. The NX has served me very well at both IAD and LHR, so if you are price focused that’s probably the one to get.
Im operating out of IAD and im thinking about LHR PRG and LEJ and to me the 4112nm from the A21NY is calling for me but the A21NX is basically an A21NY but without the range so its an A21N to me.
The NX can make all three of those, I have NXs out of IAD to every European city but Bari.
In my opinion – the NX is entirely superfluous in the modern game. Every single route it shares with the NY is vastly more profitable on the NY. The A21N is slightly more profitable on shorter routes, but not enough to really matter.
The A21NY really does everything the NX and N does as well or better than the other planes in the trio – it’s the only one you need.
The NY is also the only C plane usable for player connections out of SYD, so it future proofs you if you ever decide to boot up that airport and want to send more C planes.
Oh interesting, I didn’t realize the gap was that big between them
The gap is sizable enough that I wouldn’t consider the NX for first time purchasers, but also not sizable enough to make me recommend someone purchase it if they already have the N or NX models unless you were going to make SYD a main base of operations. Like a lot of these planes, how worthwhile it is for you to purchase is dependent on what airports you play and where you are sending to.
Here’s the most recent net profit chart from Geo for those interested:
I don’t actually agree looking at that graph. There is only a difference of around 150 wollars there, if that, and those graphs aren’t a perfect representation but merely best-fit lines, so many routes will see the NX win. The A321N is more profitable by a hair on all shared routes. I think that that is actually an argument for the N or NX given the wild price increases between variants.
I don’t think the NX will be more profitable on a single route that both it and the NY share, nor does it have any routes that it flies that the NY cannot (at least that I can find).
Because these planes have the same configuration options and maximum capacity, I don’t think you’ll see the overlap where a plane with a lower correlation line is more profitable than a plane with a correlation line above it that you ‘ll find from comparing planes with different economic formulas, capacities, and configuration options (ie a B38M and an A20N).
This is one of my beefs with the in game economy. So many planes are deemed irrelevant because of the simplicity of the economic systems and the over-inflation of demand in general.
That said – saying the difference in profit is significant for everyone is an overstatement. I’ll give you that.
I think the difference in profit (~5-10% depending on route) makes it significant enough for players who don’t have any A321neo variant, but for players with the A321N or NX, I’d really only recommend it for SYD or specifically to provide a C connection to SYD as those are the primary routes taking advantage of the extra range.
It’s gonna be significantly less than that, more in the range of 3-5%, and needing 40 flights to pay off the difference in price between X and Y is achievable but a pain
3-5% for the same routes depending on distance. 5-10% on maximum profit from the same departure airport. The most profitable for route for the NY is about 17.3% more profitable than the NX’s most profitable route across all airports for the most extreme outlier, so I don’t think a potential for 10% benefit is that extreme.
Even with the purchase cost difference in Wollars between the aircraft though, I don’t really agree that that’s a huge reason to go for a less profitable plane. The amount of time it takes to go from “Wollars are a problem” to “Wollars are meant to be wasted!” is relatively low in my experience, so I don’t see a huge reason to prioritize planes with less long term potential for returning your investment a few handlings quicker.
But that’s something that comes down to play style so I could understand the appeal… especially if we ever get an update to the maintenance system where we are rewarded for making the planes profitable earlier in their lifespan as we won’t be able to fly them infinitely anymore (would actually make the gameplay a whole lot more interesting with something like that).
It actually GE, the back GE engine on the A330 on the 330 do stick out further compared to the PW where it cuts off leaving a hole. Its also a little larger then the PW
Hello! Which of those liveries you like best?
Deep Blue Waves
Ireland Green
Cayman Red
British Ink
Little Flower
Asia Shake
Novel Bullet
If you want to use any of them, fell free to ask, I’ll send you the Hex code
Personally like the green, red, and purple. Similar to my primary livery so I’m maybe biased a bit lol
2025 Livery
2026 Livery
The one thing to keep in mind is the purple probably needs to be brighter, cause lighting is different between hangar and main game
Wait a minute… are those liveries which @Matejake send me to make his livery???
