World of Airports related polls

I’ll say it again. I only want one to automatically appoint terminals or aprons.
All the rest of it is too much work and, moreover, doesn’t match the gameplay for most people (or rl for that matter). Playing even a generous couple of hours a day means you never get past the first few entries.

Which would you choose,

for a flight that is between 1hr-4hrs, any destination with the airline of your choosing and from the closest major city you have to drive to to get to that flight.

  • Airbus A320
  • Boeing 737-800

Air Canada A321 from YYZ to YYT

Which airport size would you like in the game next for the next new airport.

  • Sinapore Changhi Airport (Super Hub size)
  • Denpasar ( medium - small hub size)

Aw man, I was hoping Singapore Changi would beat Denpasar as the most voted for airport in the forums…

I mean it’s not so much Singapore but more so using Singapore as an example of large hubs. I’m fairly pleased medium sized airports are more popular but you can see it’s still fairly close.

Just unlocked the A321 XLR and have a few options of what to do now. This poll won’t officially determine what I do but it’ll definitely help me see what others would do.

  • E class aircraft (A339)
  • Cargo fleet development
  • 737-800 (while cheap)
  • A380-800 (while cheap)
  • B Class Aircraft (E170/175)

A339 in a heart beat haha

This is actually so hard cause all 5 are great options haha. What types have you already got and what airports are you expecting to use these at the most?

Currently own the 737 Max and A321 xlr, looking to use them at BRI (aside from the 380) and IAD when I unlock it.

Honestly, in that case I’d go E175 and then A339 personally. A380 is useless at Dulles cause of crew shortages, and B738 is decent but irrelevant with your other two. It’s good to have a mix of B, C, and light E at IAD.

Sorry to side track this conversation but, what do you mean crew shortages at Dulles?

IAD doesn’t have enough handling crew to even approach being able to handle at the pace of landings, so you really have to strategize there and pick aircraft that don’t take a ton of handling crew. It is one of the few hub airports where a large narrowbody fleet actually makes a ton of sense. generally, balancing B, C, and E planes that don’t require a ton of crew is the best option.

Hi everyone, I’ve just finished getting 3 stars for both Washington (IAD) and Zurich (ZRH). Now I need to decide which airport to unlock next; I have enough gold planes to pick whichever one airport i prefer.

For now, I’m looking for an airport that doesn’t have too many slots, is easy to grind, and has good taxi times and balanced ground crew.
Currently, I have the following 3-star airports:
Innsbruck (INN), Bari (BRI), Prague (PRG), Washington (IAD), Muscat (MCT), Sint Maarten (SXM), New Orleans (MSY), and Zurich (ZRH).

Maybe it can be my future HUB for my airlines.

Wich Airport should I get now?

  • Nagoya (NGO)
  • San Diego (SAN)
  • Leipzig (LEJ)
  • London Heathrow (LHR)
  • Sydney (SYD)
  • Bangkok (BKK)
  • Hong Kong (HKG)
  • Kannur (CNN)

That could be SCL, but it’s missing in your list.

It’s an intresting choice, I will consider it, thx

I would have chosen INN or MSY, both are fun to play and in reach of player airports. And you’ll get a decent start at both of them, and they are cool to grind.

My only worries are about the Ground Crew in INN. If you want to handle all planes parked at the apron, you need to buy some ground crew with SPs, and in MSY, it takes quite a lot time for the planes to taxi to the runway, but it is still better than in SAN I think.

In the ones you mentioned there’s always at least one of the criteria which you just won’t get, so I went with BKK since I feel like it’s a very well balanced large airport and the one I enjoy the most out of these. I will also definitely second BelGoFly’s SCL suggestion, don’t really see a problem with it so it’s always worth considering :slightly_smiling_face:
