Aircraft that used to be very common around (not only) Europe, Airbus’ second jet after the A300, it has definitely earned a significant place in aviation history and deserves to be “immortalized” in the game. It would also provide more variety to shorter, less busy long-haul routes.

An Interflug A310 would be such a cool event airplane. I didn’t know until I searched it up that they operated three (DDR-ABA, DDR-ABB, DDR-ABC) from 1989-1991.

And what makes it even better in my opinion is that in the waning years of the Cold War, once the two Germanies had begun to make steps towards reunification but the airline Interflug still existed, they actually took off the East German logo and gave the aircraft German registrations! This picture is taken in November 1990, post reunification (October 3rd, 1990) but before the reunification went into proper effect (by Wikipedia, March 15th, 1991) and Interflug was dissolved (April 30th, 1991), and the East German emblem is missing from the nose stripe and the aircraft (presumably former DDR-ABC) has been re-registered as D-AOAC.

And as an aside, DDR-ABA, Interflug’s first A310, would go on to be D-AOAA and then eventually become F-WNOV/F-HNOV, the AirZeroG aircraft that is mentioned in the original post!

The completely a300 -340 family must go remodel and the airlines was missing to added
