Yeah, I have never heard of this before as well. But one thing might explain is that, Spring Japan is not owned by Spring Airlines (the Chinese owned one) right now. Instead it was sold to a Japanese airline (I remember it was JAL but might be ANA, some one to correct me if I’m wrong!) so the parent company could help to establish an air cargo business.

Wondering if devs are considering to have regular A319neo contracts in the game. I know there aren’t many operators. But something like China Southern a319neo might be a good one for NGO.

It just barely can’t make it (~4300mi vs ~4700mi). But the game does take some liberties with range, so who knows.
