One of the few American Airlines Boeing 737-100s in a hybrid scheme between AirCal and American - wearing the former’s livery scheme with the latter’s airline titles.

Why should this livery be added?
Now, I’m sure you can guess where this livery originated from; acquired in the same manner as the B732 and B733, from AirCal merging into American.
However, unlike those other 737 variants acquired from the merger, it seems as if American’s 737-100s were never painted in the standard Chrome scheme of the time, or if they did, no plausible media seems to exist of it. Furthermore, compared to the other variants, AirCal had far fewer 737-100s to offer American - only 2, to be specific.Likely due to such, alongside possibly other factors, (such as the 737-200 being the better and more plentiful variant in American’s fleet) resulted in the 737-100s only serving the airline for a very short tenure - from the time of acquiring in July 1987, they were out within a year, with both leaving by May 1988 - N472GB above was the first to leave, having gone in April of that year.
However, in spite of their obscurity and short time with American, I still do believe these aircraft and their liveries are quite notable and should be added - the 737-100 was quite a rare aircraft to see, especially in the likes of North America, and this rather unique livery on an already rare aircraft type would make for amazing event or even special contract material, and could possibly be paired with something like the hybrid American-AirCal B733 livery as well, which I think is also quite unique.
(There were also examples of 737-200s in the American-AirCal livery, but that has yet to be suggested; maybe I’ll do so later assuming nobody takes it up first lol)
