Why should this livery be added?
American operated this aircraft type from the first -223 being delivered in 1982, until the final 223ER was retired in May 2014. They did operate a few US Airways aircraft during the merger but they remained in the US Airways colours. The normal -200s were retired by 2008 though I think the ER variant should be the one added into the game to give the aircraft the range for more playable airports. In all 13 -223’s were operated with 17 -223ER’s and then the 10 US Airways aircraft getting it up to 40 total. Would be a nice one to see on both inter-US routes as they were used extensively between JFK and LAX, as well as MIA, SAN, ORD, BOS and San Juan, but it also visited European destinations, especially in the 1990s like Paris, Brussels and Rio in South America amongst many others.I’d love to see this in-game as a regular contract from AAL hubs as it would be fab to see the full chrome liveries as options in-game for players, such as the 752 and 763 as well as the current in-game 772 and 738. Plus the F100 would be ace if we ever get an AAL hub like Houston or ORD.
