AWE - US Airways

:airplane: Airline Name
:united_states: US Airways

IATA: US / ICAO: AWE / Callsign: CACTUS

Or if America West is added too,

IATA: US / ICAO: USA / Callsign: US AIR

So as to distinguish between the 2 on ATC for those players who like hearing it.

:globe_showing_europe_africa: Country of Origin
:united_states: United States of America

:airplane_departure: Aircraft Types Used (from those available in WoA)

There were plans to order A350s, with US Airways to be the US launch customer but due to the takeover of American Airlines, they were postponed and ultimately cancelled in favour of increasing American Airlines 787 order. They would’ve operated the A350-800 and -900, though this was later changed to just -900s.

What might’ve been,

Edit: Addition of US Airways Express (As all other airlines have them in the parent airline),

:pushpin: Why should this airline be added?
A memorable airline for the American audience and for countries in Europe and Central & Southern America, which was the airline that purchased a bankrupt American Airlines, but decided to take on its identity retiring the US Airways brand in 2015 with the livery vanishing at the end of 2016 apart from the couple of heritage liveries kept around. It would add another airline and further diversify airports worldwide with its livery available on routes from many major US airports. Although it didn’t have a hub at any in-game airports, it was prominent at all 3 US airports, SXM, LHR AND GRU. It also had a hub at Washington Ronald Reagan, the other airport for Washington so liberties could be taken.

Having just done a post for America West Airlines, if that airline was to be added, the pre 2005 ICAO for US Airways was USA and Callsign was US AIR which might distinguish if both are in-game.

Funny to think that this airline was bankrupt and bought by America West, who used its corporate identity, and then American was bankrupt, and was bought by US Airways, who then used its corporate identity. America West just got much bigger
