Afriqiyah Airways received this Airbus A330-200 on December 2013, registered 5A-ONP, operated services from Tripoli International to Istanbul Atatürk Airport as EU banned Libyan Airlines from operating flights to or from EU member states. In July 2014 at Tripoli International Airport, the aircraft suffered damages from gun fire during fighting at the airport, which withdrew the aircraft from service and stored at Tripoli from July 2014 to May 2016. It was later stored at Hamburg Airport in May 2016 and was scrapped in November 2025.
