I checked your profile and saw your original post about the Line Up and Take Off idea.
From what I understand, the current implementation feels like a bit of a trade off compared to what you were suggesting. It does help with structure and managing runway traffic, but it also adds an extra step even when the runway is empty, which can make simple departures feel less direct than before.
Hopefully with that in mind, the devs might take a look at it in the future and consider a rolling takeoff option.
