Aviation Talking Point

I Know You guys Said It’s Random, But I remember returning with Winglets Faster After 2 or 3 Roundtrips
Its already the fourth Roundtrip
I tried using A320 From Thai Airasia Bangkok and Phuket starting a new contract and I’m still having the same issue.

I have to cancel my contract and rebuy them again.

Anyone been to a hotel and saw the flight departure information at the hotel?

If you mean flight information from tour operators then I’ve seen it many times (I mean that’s how you get your transfers in most instances). I thought you meant the nearby airports main departure board.

Exactly or that what I have though of before I made the post…

Well I didn’t stay there but to lgw from a car park you go through the Hilton hotel as a shortcut. There were flight departure boards in there if that counts.

Yeah I’ve seen departure information in many hotels, especially closer to the airport that you are. Tour operators do this all the time. My last trip to Jamaica had 4 boards full of departure times, airlines, when you need to board the airport buses.
This is way more frequent than you might think

All Russian tour operators surprisingly especially where I stayed in Dalaman, Turkey have not see a departure notice board to Germany, Poland and UK.

Mid 2010s, late go around at Zakynthos due to a goat on the runway!

Summer 2010. I was on an Allegiant Air MD88 from KEUG to KIWA and we did a low fly over the airfield then circled around to land. Didn’t feel like we were ever in approach and no TOGA thrust, so I’ve always wondered if maybe we had a landing gear concern so we overflew for someone on the ground to confirm?

Average Allegiant MD-88 experience.

Thankfully no go arounds, but I did witness someone trying to go the bathroom, 500ft up from landing. Never seen a flight attendant move that fast in my life. Grabbed him by the collar and dragged him back to his seat. 10 seconds later. Touchdown

Wildlife runway incursions are surprisingly common. So much so at some airports near habitats like rivers/lakes that it’s a permenant addition in their NOTAMs and even weather OBs.
