Luckily not on the runways, but I’ve had a run-in or two with gators and turtles on the roads here in Louisiana. Good ol’ southern U.S. haha. I wonder if airports in Australia have issues with kangaroo crossings :joy:

Go to Heviz Balaton airport in Hungary, they don’t have a fence so you can just walk onto the runway.
Update: sadly thats not possible anymore, there is now a fence there but in the late 2000s early 2010s you can walk onto the runway.

Public transport is a PAINNNN in England. Or atleast the southeast

Depends which airport, what the trip is and what time flight. If we are flying from MAN in the afternoon and don’t have suitcases, so a short weekend away or 1 night trip we’ll take the train, it’s only 1 change at either Crewe or Manchester Picc to get to the Airport so isn’t too bad, and much cheaper than a taxi. If we are going on a holiday or the flights are early, we’ll take a taxi as we figured out last year that taking suitcases onto trains is a pain in the backside. Some airports you have no choice but use the bus when visiting, take Belfast International, Dublin, Jersey and Prague as examples. That isn’t including package holiday transfers.

Car because it’s literally the only form of transport in my area
