Shortest Jersey-Southampton Air UK Fokker 100.

Longest would be SSH to MAN, 5 hours 20 minutes from what I remember on a Monarch A300. Shortest was LHR to MAN, actual flight time of only 29 minutes onboard a British Airways A320, I think it was scheduled for 1 hour 5 minutes.

Shortest: Vancouver(YVR) to Comox(YYQ). 35 min flight on Air Canada Jazz Q-300
Longest: Toronto(YYZ) to London(LHR or LGW). 7hr 15 minute flight on Air Canada 777-300ER, Air Canada A330-300, Westjet 767-300ER, British airways 777-200ER, British airways 747-400(As you can see, its a pretty common route for me…)

The shortest flight I took is pretty hard to choose but the shortest flight I took was DUB to MAN, with Ryanair 737 and Aer Lingus A320 and the longest flight I took was from DUB to MCO which took 8 and half hours to complete was on an Aer Lingus A330.

Ok y’all.
Whats the rarest aircraft you’ve ever flown on?

Do you mean like a certain model of a plane?

Or an airline?

Yep the actual aircraft type

I have gone on an MD-11 before

Given most are scrapped now, I suppose it’d be the MD87/MD88 (Allegiant Air, before they were cool)

I don’t know will it count as rare aircraft but I was on one of last LOT Q400 flights before it got retired.

That’s a pretty hard question but probably the A310 when I flew with Sata International.

Pretty generic question but what is your favourite aircraft seat position?

  • Window
  • Middle
  • Aisle

I will make another one but with one popular option removed as you sometimes can’t choose your favourite.

Think it’s obvious :joy:
Window then isle then middle :joy: although on BA’s 747s the middle seats were alright in Business

Depends on how you view rare, would it be aircraft types not many people ever mention flying on or ones which are sparse in number (either now or when you flew on them)?

Without a doubt though, the rarest aircraft I’ve flown on is either the A300-600 or a 757-300.

Ermm good question. I’d probably just say what you think is the rarest.
(Btw mine is probably a 737-400)

Might have to revise my answer. I’ve also been on a United B767-400ER, of which only 37 were ever built, and only United (Continental) and Delta have them.
