Purpose or Role in Game
Regional jet designed high density regional and short-haul routes. It can have a 5 or 6 abreast layout n the cabin and was reportedly profitable when only half full on most routes. The aircraft was quiet and was very appealing to operators where noise was a sensitive topic. It also was the only jet for a while to be able to operate into London City due to it’s STOL capabilities.
Why should this aircraft be added?
It would add the smaller variants of the already in-game -300 (RJ100), and would provide a new abundance of airlines and liveries to the game, also increasing players choice in what they wish to operate.
Airlines that use it
Not many airlines outside of Iran operate them for anything more than cargo services, governments or firefighting and most currently operated are the -300 variant. I will instead add former operators which only recently retired these aircraft from service, and others which are notable in the aircraft’s history.

Bit extensive this list but it is one of my favourite aircraft.
