Special characteristics or variants
There are a few strange features that this aircraft has to offer:
It represents Japan’s modern aviation industry and is an iconic aircraft for all WoA airports. Their inclusion would encourage national aircraft diversity in the game.
The C-2 is a product of the 21st century… It is equipped with a modern glass cockpit with several large LCD screens. This underlines their status as a modern aircraft and offers a visual change from the older transport planes in the game.
The hydraulically lowerable body and the large rear ramp enable quick and easy loading and unloading of vehicles or pallets, even on unpaved or makeshift runways. Although WoA mainly simulates civilian airports, this could be depicted in the handling animation and the C-2 could be the fastest loading and unloading cargo aircraft of its class license plate.
It is powered by two General Electric CF6-80C2K1F engines, which are also available in many civilian wide-body aircraft (e.g. Boeing 747, 767, Airbus A330) can be used for their reliability are known.
