Why should this livery be added?
The passenger capacity (about 100 seats) and range of the Fokker 100 were adapted to the demand of China Eastern Airlines’ branch lines and some short to medium distance international routes at that time, helping it improve its route layout with second tier airports in mainland China, Hong Kong, and Japan. At the same time, it strengthened the route connections from Nanjing to major cities in China such as Beijing and Guangzhou, enhancing the flexibility of route coverage.The 1990s was a period of rapid development for China’s civil aviation industry, and the introduction of the Fokker 100 was an attempt by China Eastern Airlines to diversify its fleet and adapt to changes in market demand. It accumulated experience for its subsequent fleet planning and operation management, and also witnessed China Eastern Airlines’ development process in a specific stage.
