:pushpin: Why should this airline be added?
Founded in 1950, Cimber Air was was a Danish airline operating scheduled domestic and international services in co-operation with Scandinavian Airlines & Lufthansa at it’s main bases at Copenhagen Kastrup and Billund Airport, with a smaller base at Aalborg Airport with a fleet of twin-engine turboprop, like the ATR & Nord, and regional jets, like the CRJ & F28.

Following Sterling Airlines filing for bankruptcy in October 2008, Cimber Air bought parts of the now defunct airline , with the airline changing it’s name to Cimber Sterling on January 2009, which included a new AOC, slot, brand and website domain change. In May 2012, Cimber Sterling ceased all operations after filing for bankruptcy after its owner, Mansvell Enterprises Ltd (owned by Ihor Kolomoyskyi), stopped financial support.

After Cimber Sterling went bankrupt on May 2012, Cimber A/S began operations on behalf of Scandinavian Airlines, which operated a fleet of regional jets, like the CRJ in SAS colors. It would cease operations in March 2018.
