Fokker 70/100 Pre-Release Discussion

On the:

That seemed to be the idea when the plan was to update all planes to allow for retractable landing gears, but now that they’ve done it without updating old planes I imagine they are more open to new planes especially those that relate to a recently released or upcoming airport.

I think he was talking about all the people that were complaining about only getting reworks and not any new models.

Which, to an extent, is fair in my opinion

the F70 and F100 are both small, since they are just like a CRJ

Aren’t they a good bit wider?

They are, both fokers have a 92’ span, meanwhile the crj 1k has the widest of the family at 86’

the fokker 100 and 70 have a wingspan smaller than the E175 so i dont see how they would be used as mediums, in my opinion it would be a waste of space but it would be great to have them in small so we could put the Allaince fokkers in the small section of the jetstar terminal so the jet bridges have a use and also the jet bridge at the virgin air jet bridge and d1 jet bridge cant work either without an e170-75

Watch as they don’t connect to the jetbridges

F70 possibly not F100 definetly should, and it will suck if they dont connect!!!

Just these images tell me it won’t, there’s no secondary service door that cleaning crews could enter, which seems to be a requirement

You also forget that on the Fokker 70/100 even the Fokker 28, the steps are built into the door.

i havent forgotten that part, and also for the wingspans i was looking through google

Could they not use the starboard entry or even just go up through the jetway? Maybe they’d have to take turns with catering but not sure these flights have more than snack crackers and soda.

If they end up being S there won’t be any catering
