Would be hoping for Vancouver as it has good connectivity with Asia and the pacific while also having airlines like Flair, Air North and Air Canada. However there aren’t many 737-200s in YVR so either YUL or maybe YYZ might be a shout as they have airlines like Air Inuit, Canadian North and Nolinor while also having AC and Westjet, etc

There’s nothing to read into regarding the next region 
The reason we didn’t include the Air Canada A345 is simply that we try to keep some liveries for the regions they naturally belong to.
So while I can’t promise anything, we thought it might be better to save a few Canadian liveries for a future Canadian airport — if that ever happens. 
At the moment, it’s just about keeping liveries aligned with their home regions rather than hinting at any specific future plans.

Ahem, as the Premier Vancouver advocate of this forum, I believe I’ve been summoned…
Top 3 in votes for a North American airport behind none other than LAX and ANC just sayin…
Oh and did I mention YVR has seaplanes, which would make it a perfect complement if we ever got anc(which is a lot of people favourite for the next USA airport)? On a real note though, as a Canadian, I would be overjoyed if we got any Canadian airport. But with yvrs combination of liveries, scenery(Pacific Ocean and Cascades) and architecture, I think this is by far my favourite!
Also a cool Easter egg, if we were to ever get this, since YVR is located next to the ocean is every once in a while a humpback whale pops it head out the water(they are very common in that area especially during the spring and fall) and after you click on it, it does a flip then returns into the deep until next time, and you get a nice 50 wollars

seeing this talk about canadian airports and all got me thinking a bit (and yes, i do understand nothing is confirmed)
see, ive been thinking of what might come next (continent-wise mainly), and ive assumed the following;
europe with the addition of ZRH is likely very low priority for quite a few updates, asia i could probably assume is in a similar boat, though if so, not to the same extent (keep in mind though, it has HKG, BKK, MCT, NGO, etc…), and africa unfortunately appears to be unsustainable from a development perspective for anything as of now
as such, i think it’s reasonable to assume that the next airport could be part of north or south america, as well as possibly australia/oceania (my money’s more on ANC though lol, to suit the 737s, cargo rework and compliment the 747 family we just got)
if we’re talking strictly canada though, maybe something like YVR or YYC to back up the west coast and connect with asia
now a disclaimer: i dont intend to spread any rumors about “X airport in X continent is inevitable/will come”, nor do i think that the next airport absolutely needs to be in any of those “most likely” regions (as i am aware that there are many still interesting airports all around asia and europe, for example)
all im trying to do is give my two cents on what might meet us in the future, feel free to agree, disagree or give your own take

If the next airport is gonna be in Canada (or even USA), perhaps the devs should take the opportunity and announce it during the World Cup. Just saying

I was merely just confirming that it wasnt because it over text cant be interpreted like speaking in person and it can be misinterpreted by some people giving high hopes its a canadian airport and instead something else.

Although its not confirmed, hopefully the devs see the high amount of support that the community has at the idea of a canadian airport(Particularly YVR, YYC, YYZ, and YUL) and put one into their future plans. 
Oh, and on that note, if we were to ever get one, this would be an execellent event livery to have!

If I recall correctly, it might not even have been that. It was around the 50 something mark, before loads of people went and voted on it after it was confirmed. The same thing happened with HKG, the only difference being that was already towards the very top of the most voted on airports beforehand.

I’m curious to know why the regular B77LF contracts in the MAERSK Air Cargo livery have disappeared from Leipzig, leaving only DHL and Aerologic among the cargo carriers in this airport.
Could this be some kind of error that no one noticed, and which I should report so that this livery can be brought back in next version (for example 3.6.1), so that it will once again be possible to purchase contracts for regular cargo flights in Leipzig from three cargo airlines instead of two?
I see that this livery remains in WoApedia, but it seems unclear to me why the livery is there, but there are no regular contracts like there used to be. Or has this livery’s status been changed to be for one-time contracts only? Or maybe I didn’t notice how the regular MAERSK Air Cargo contracts disappeared not in the recent update, but in an earlier one?
I remember that this livery was available in Leipzig some weeks or months ago, although I personally have not yet purchased a single aircraft in the MAERSK Air Cargo livery either in Leipzig or at other airports

Honestly, Even though ZRH didn’t have the highest number of votes, I still think it was a perfect choice for an airport, and shows that votes arent everything. I mean, just look at(some of) the highest voted airports on the forum. They were just voted by a bunch of people who made their account for the sake of voting because it is their home region and probably never touched WOA again, not those who actually care about the quality of the game. I mean, if we went off that logic, every airport in the game would be in the same corner of the earth. So while YVR does have a high number of votes, and from what I can see most votes werent just one-time logins, at the end of the day it’s the devs choice, and they know whats best for the game.
