Hey, going back to future airports for a bit. We’ve not nothing from Central America’s or north of South America like BOG or something like that…. But then there’s loads of places that don’t have airports.. just a thought of mine..

If we got BOG aith the old style terminal it could be interesting. Atm it sort of looks like SCL North lol. Plus Avianca in the late 2000s had a really interesting varied fleet.

Yeah it could be good for those players who love older style planes or creating airports from years gone by. Bogotá was the only one in my head at the time but of course there’s many more options.

The first step will be convincing the devs to push back the regular contract cut off by a couple of years, means we can have stuff like MyTravel and Thomsonfly 737-500s then (the latter very useful for INN).

I will be the only one here but the irl round the world tour MyTravel Scandinavia did back in the 2000s with an A330-300 would be an awesome event, could show up at all worldwide airports haha.

I saw the discussions above about possible American airports, with many different options suggested in the posts above.
I don’t want to rush any of the developers, of course, but if the idea of adding a US airport ever comes back to the forefront, I’d like to draw your attention to Los Angeles International Airport (LAX).
LAX is home to American, United, Delta, Atlas Air, and World Airways in one place. I couldn’t find any other such airports in the US, based on other conveniently located playable airports I used to look for available contracts. That is, all three US liveries with four-engine passenger aircraft are based there.
Until recently, JFK impressed me with the number of contracts offered for four-engine cargo aircraft, but after the latest update, LAX has already surpassed JFK in this number. Furthermore, United isn’t based at JFK.
Plus, along with three liveries featuring four-engine models, LAX also has two liveries featuring two D-size aircraft over 60 meters in length (B764 and MD11). I don’t know if LAX has parking for maximum D-size aircraft, given that there are many playable airports without such parking. The game already has two playable airports home to B764s, but there are no playable airports with a based triple-engine aircraft.
It’s truly beautiful, considering how much LAX has. By comparison, Chicago isn’t home to Delta. I like Atlanta because it has six runways, but United, American, and Atlas aren’t home to them. Someone else mentioned Dallas, but it’s only American, if we’re talking about carriers based there that have E-size aircraft.
I don’t categorize airports as good or bad. Each airport has its own unique features, its own set of qualities, which ultimately influence my fleet development strategy at a given airport. But if, when American airports return to the agenda when discussing future airports for addition to the game, the developers suddenly wonder what criteria would be best to use when making a decision, I have a possible hint: the criterion for the degree of completeness of the availability of airlines of the country where the airport is located for purchasing contracts.
P.S. Where did the MAERSK livrey disappeared from Leipzig’s proposed permanent contracts go?

Charlie had mentioned before that sadly Pam Am is not feasible in the game. The licensing of the brand is pretty cost prohibitive. Would have loved to see those classic 747s in their livery but it doesn’t make sense for them economically and I get it.

This shortfall could be compensated for, for example, by adding all unused early-model 747s with American liveries from United (Continental), Delta, American, and Atlas, specifically to permanent contracts for scheduled flights, not one-time arrivals. And also liveries from other passenger airlines, such as Trans World, Northwest, and others, if possible

If truth be told, we’ve not long got the 747 classics and whilst more liveries would be great, I think a lot of people would like to see the liveries for the 757 that are so widely discussed.
If it’s something we could see addressed with these smaller more frequent updates I’m not sure, there’s a lot of 757s out there with decent numbers of votes so people clearly want them. Then you have the B762 which has a total of 3 liveries, and is arguably one of the most underused aircraft in game. I personally think liveries for them should be a bit of a higher priority than early 747 liveries that’ll show up as an event every now and again, especially as they would include a decent amount of regular contracts for most in game airports.
Although on the subject of classic 747s, an American Chrome and a BOAC 747 would be marvellous events.

You’re right, too. There may still be many not added B773 (non-ER) liveries; they’ve probably been used by more companies than just four. It’s clear that few people know the external differences between the 777-300 and 777-300ER, except flight distance, and I don’t know if there are any at all, but they’re clearly two different models by game standards, with different abbreviations. Regarding the 777-200ER, it’s also possible whether there are many more liveries yet to be added
There are still few MD11 liveries; it’s clear that not everything has been added. This also applies to the A300

Y’all are talking about liveries for recent models tha have been retired while there’s still liveries that are actually still flying around that are missing like 787-8 liveries for ACA, AMX, TGW, UAL (New colors) and some A220 and 20N/21N liveries
