I’d love to see an airport in Africa, but until someone from the dev team says something other than what is posted here: General Pre-Release Discussion - #1194 by Charlie , I’m not sure that asking for airports in Africa is really going to do anything to make it happen.
Also – as much as I want airports all over the world, some airports really need improved connectivity for smaller planes (SYD especially) so that’s why Oceania is a high priority for me.
I think it will be close to the end of March, so I’m gonna say maybe the 25th? I definitely won’t be mad if it comes out earlier or later though, as long as everything works fine
I’m guessing with the patterns of releases at the end of the quarters, probably last week of March. But until we don’t get a devblog, I think it’s fair to say devs won’t release an update without giving us any prior info like previous updates.
I’m really happy to read Alliances are in the scope of 2026 predictions, as is one of the most exciting new feature I could think of.
In my opinion, even if Alliances feature release is not pretty successful as many players could not like how them work, I think it could anyways be kind of good news, as many more players would get attracted to the game.
As it happened with WoA 3.0 (that made me want to come back to the game for some months), some big changes were made and we don’t need to like every aspect that changed; in fact we probably don’t. But the feeling of getting something big in a near/mid distance future is what I think keeps more players excited about playing the game.
To sum up my thoughts, I fully support your focus on the new Alliances feature, and I’d like to ask a question (that I will separate below to keep it more visible):
As Alliances feature could mean a big change in how players interact between each other, are you planing on taking small groups of players to “beta-test” this feature?
if we want more smaller single runway airports, a suggestion could be that you choose your starting airport? (E.g, pick Innsbruck, or another airport of similar size). This could allow for more smaller airports that only allow for sizes D-, where it wouldn’t be viable otherwise because people usually want big, big airports.
I am very excited about Innsbruck. I’m hoping to see planes that planes can taxi by themselves (without pushback if clear on both sides), updated GSE (yellow covered air stairs, yellow pushback tug and maybe updated buses as I don’t think a single bendy bus is right for a D or C size aircraft) and more 757s!

3. Account Suspension and Termination

Automation Tools and Auto-Clickers (Macros): Any detected use of auto-clickers, macros, scripts, bots, automation software, or similar tools may result in an immediate permanent ban and termination of the account without compensation.
