I’d like clarification on whether “general airports” refer to small, popular airports or airports intended to replace those conveniently located on existing routes.

But the Generic airports I’m hoping for are, London City LCY & Mahon (Menorca) MAH.

Not really, we have Innsbruck without an E gate. I’d be quite happy with an airport limited to nothing bigger than a 757. And generic airports refers to the assets used being generic, so they’ll be wherever people want an airport, but which make no sense for resources to be spent making it the exact same. Like CNN. Somewhere with a unique layout and look, or highly requested will not be generic. So it can be both of your statements but more likely to be the former.

I can understand that viewpoint. As these elements were implemented whilst the vision was somewhat vague, I would appreciate some guidance on the direction. This would foster greater understanding within the forum than currently exists.

Depends on what airports they choose, so one I want Menorca does handle TUi Dreamliners, so that would have D aircraft on some of the remote stands. Could end up with one that only has A-B class aircraft so we have to wait and see what they announce next.

It would be nice to have one in Central America or north South America as an additional C planes option for the surrounding airports.
And west central Africa as a partner for GRU and CPT.
ANC and HNL are in good spots if they don’t want to model more USA.
Canada doesn’t need a generic if they finally give us Yellowknife.

Actually Canada could have two generic airports, Iqaluit Airport and Whitehorse International Airport. Maybe St John’s.

Yeah, they said we’d be getting another update before HKG with more 757 and ERJ liveries. Hoping for some more MD11s in there too.

Hello everyone, I have a question for you: is there a chance that the WOA team will create a general airport in the near future, e.g. in Tenerife? What do you think about it?
Tenerife South has already been suggested as an airport by myself.
