:pushpin: Why should this airline be added?
Founded in 2013, AirAsia India was an Indian low-cost airline operating from itโ€™s primary hub in Bangalore as joint venture with Tata & AirAsia. There was a significance to the foundation of this airline as AirAsia was the first foreign airline to set up a subsidiary in India, and Tata Groupโ€™s return to the aviation industry after 60 years, having previously ceding Air India in 1946. In June 2020, AirAsia India was the 4th largest carrier in India, after IndiGo, SpiceJet and Air India.

AirAsia India primarily operated a fleet of Airbus A320s & A20Ns, which operated 200 daily services to 21 destinations across in India like Mumbai & Delhi. Like many low cost carriers like Ryanair, Wizz Air & Tigerair, AirAsia had numerous subsidiaries with a few in-game like Thai AirAsia and Thai AirAsia X, and other subsidiaries still operating like AirAsia Cambodia and Philippines AirAsia. But AirAsia has had few subsidiaries cease operations like AirAsia Japan & Indonesia AirAsia X.

This airline would make for another good local/regional contract for CNN or an international contract for MCT/HKG.
