Why should this airline be added?
Tigerair was founded in 2003 as Tiger Airways and continued under that name until 2013 when it changed to Tigerair. It had a majority stake taken in it in 2014 by Singapore Airlines. In 2017 it merged with Scoot with the latter taking the operating certificate from the former. Tiger Airways operated as a LCC similar in style to Ryanair and had numerous subsidiaries including Tigerair Taiwan, which is in-game and still operating, Tigerair Australia, Tigerair Mandala of Indonesia and Tigerair Philippines.It was a regular visitor to BKK and HKG and is the previous parent of the in-game Tigerair Taiwan so would be a fantastic addition with both the new and old livery.
