Does anyone else get this consistent type of backlog of departures at IAD? Not complaining, but curious to hear from others.

Yeah it can build up. I just wish more aircraft could take off on the one that the Z gates do

I agree. Maybe in future updates, they will tweak it, tough to say.
Yeah that happens to me as well since I normally handle all M planes altogether.
A good idea is to go back to main menu and everything disappears.
But from my experience I simply ignore it. It should disappear later, M planes take off faster than those bigger jets.

Im looking forward to this and not just for IAD but also other airports like LHR and especially Prague that’s also missing some jetbridges and has some special double parking possibilities at some gates

How many crew do you have at IAD?
I found that 170 is enough for handling througput with minimal waiting time.
I have about 220 now and still very inadequate for me since I tend to stick with the biggest planes… Plan to see what happenes after devs revisit IAD and modify the stands then confirm if I need to buy more staff.
With big planes it adds up. However I found that with “load balancing” the arrivals in combination with the long taxiing times from runways you can manage the planes quite good.
The 3 arrival runways with their specific stands/gates helps also.
If shared stands will be implemented on both midfield terminals, that’s at most additional 64 crew - 2 for each gate at A/B, 1 for every 2 gates at C/D. It might not be on every gate as some of these gates are wonky. It’ll help but certainly not much.
Also I think they need to lessen the load on the central runway with more B gates assigned to 19R. 19C gets to have arrival of most A/B gates plus arrival and departure of freighters.

I suppose you have too many departures going to the runway?
Not too much we can do at this stage. Just go to the main menu and you can save yourself from the departure wave.

Hello, I would like to ask whether the graphics on my device are functioning correctly and whether the terminal at IAD Airport is really supposed to look like this. What concerns me is that the graphics look somewhat strange, almost as if some textures failed to load. So far I have played at the airports INN, BRI, and PRG, and the graphics there seemed much nicer to me. Thank you in advance for any feedback.

It’s all correct, IAD is a much larger airport so probably has something to do with that.
