Absolutely love the new INN, especially with the new lighting. Although I will say that I’ve been playing with the time set to night, because to me everything looks too bright during the day. Also the cows , they weren’t needed but will definitely be appreciated.

It seems like the D-class battle at INN will never be over, because of the class system and the size difference between the B752 and MD-11. I want to have B752 contracts, but I hate how they move over on the taxiway oh well.

Hopefully the other airports will get similar glow ups, especially the pre-2.0 ones.

I think Pizza knows it wasn’t. INN is a let down in my eyes. I do love the airport remodel itself but the surroundings haven’t changed which I’d have thought it would’ve.

Some of the iconic spotting locations haven’t been added though I am glad we got 2 more, the D stand have been added but not realistic, something I’d have been content with if I had something to put in them but we didn’t get that.

The lack of new airport equipment like the covered stairs, the Innsbruck branded yellow Ambulifts, the Innsbruck/BP branded large fuel tankers. It’s nice to see the new features and like I say the airport itself is beautiful but there’s a fair amount that feels like it’s been left out in favour of getting the A330s out and it’s just disheartening is all.

I do feel your comment of ‘Just because it didn’t come with the liveries you wanted?’ is quite condescending especially considering the points above here bar the equipment I put in the original post which shows to me you took umbrage to my post without clearly reading it.

I feel the covered stairs might come with the future handling update since they’ve teased different updated GSE

Quick question about INN.

every time I’ve been 757’s and 767’s have always parked head on with the terminal, but on the game theyre at 45 degree angles on the ‘a’ stands.

is this a recent change of real life layout of INN wirh the lack of number of D sized aircraft that fly there anymore or is this just a technical difference between the game and real life?

I believe it’s down to the airport being limited to lightly fuelled 767-300s irl and the game allowing the bigger D Class aircraft in that irl can’t visit INN like the MD-11 and 767-400, both of whom have a large wingspan. This I think is the reason for the stands being put at an angle and for the large aircraft being stepped out which is a bit disappointing. Personally I’d have loved to see the type removed and the 767-300 limited as that would’ve given a true irl look to the airport.

I mean to be fair I don’t think the background buildings should be too high quality, the game is already slowing down/lagging with the new INN and shadow options

I agree with this, I still think the stand allocation needs a rework again by either updating the current classes or having exceptions for certain planes to park/land at certain airports

I’m still salty about 757’s at LEJ and it used to be my favorite airport

See, I’m surprised it has so much lag when HKG is so large and detailed. Makes me wonder if it was worked from the ground up or if it’s just been added into the already existing INN, to which I feel it’s the latter. Because if it’s the original airport map with a snazzy new airport slapped on top, I can see why there’d be lag.

It’s been such a hot issue since the S-XL change that the 757s are in the wrong category that I think it’d have been the perfect time to introduce a split up of the D stands. At least then INN would’ve had a correct stand layout.
