Another thing then, where’s the runway number on here? Does this mean we’ll be able to choose which runway the planes land on? Or have I missed something there as well?
No, the runway is auto selected based on the location of the stand you choose. It can lead to simultaneously arriving aircraft.
As far as I can tell, anything for the passenger terminal and north cargo, lands and departs on the North Runway and everything else is on the South.
If you don’t mind me asking, is there a connection to KEF from LEJ? If so it gives away one of the new B752F liveries.
I’ll be very surprised if there isn’t, considering it’s a real route which is served frequently by Icelandair Cargo.
Yes there is a connection but no M that I can see, so no 752f at this point, sorry
Bit odd that it would be missed out. Hopefully not for long as I’d imagine the developers are still working on content for 1.5.0.
LEJ has gone blue on the radar. Exciting times!
To leak a little more info:
6 new aircraft types coming
2 S
2 M
2 L
DHL will be absolutely everywhere :slight_smile
Folks wanting 380/747 pax spots are going to be disappointed as there are 3 total (this is not the airport for you.)
For Cargo this will be a beast and it will also see a record number of fuel services compared to any other airport, and there will be a ton of x/L spots for cargo, weighted on the L side for total number.
I can also say, even outside the pic i posted and details above, there is definitely more in this. There is definitely an opportunity to make plenty of money with the cargo.
Silver planes are definitely in this. We are still testing and have found a few bugs which devs are working on, so it’s not ready yet. But I think outside of the we want Pax XL/L crowd, there’s something for everyone here and you will have fun with it.
The combination of minimal cargo spots at INN and BRI and limited pax gates/stands makes connection partnering a challenge for these airports, I think.
There’s around 13 pax stands that can take S and M aircraft so I think it will be fine.
Oh dear. I have no idea for new M cargo plane as my fleet were ALL AIRBUS and the real life conversion units are only exist for 1-2 months. I have enough golden plane for new type but which M size cargo plane is the best choice?
I want to get a smooth transition on the new airport.
Any suggestion?
Lets hope the new Antonov have both speed and range with good pricing over Boeing as a stop gap while watitng Airbus P2F units.
Well the 734 and 738 are already out there and it’s a safe bet the 752 is coming in this update.
So those are the choices
Is the 124 classed as a L then, as opposed to XL?
AN124 is an XL, but currently not unlockable so hence why I did not add it into the list above.
Update : release is very close, but a bug has just been uncovered that is preventing landings, so that needs to be fixed and that won’t happen until tomorrow sadly.
Ok, Connections threads are set ready for the game release. They will not be opened prior to release. I will try and be awake early enough on release date so folks east of me are not totally inconvenienced, however that does not mean you go and create your own threads. They WILL be deleted.
Bug thread will also be released as will the screen shot thread.
Getting very close guys which is why I am comfortable creating all of them…
Good luck and enjoy
Ah ok, makes sense! I saw your 2 S, 2 M and 2 L.
Along with WoA referencing it as a large cargo aircraft (coin of phrase only I think), it made me think it was classed a Large.
I do some low level process build (nowhere near as complex as this) and those last minute bugs can be so frustrating!
Got permission from devs to test a connection with a fellow tester
Cool. Are you allowed to say if that BAE is a reward plane or if you purchased it?
