Based on wingspan classification, MD-11 and DC-10 are both Class D aircraft. MD-11 is the largest aircraft that can land at a Class 4D airfield.

Don’t really know but I think MD-11 should be cat D?

Even knowing that is very hard, but I do want to see many airlines historically used this aircraft to be available as normal contracts, such as Finnair(AY) and KLM(KL).

Yes, you’re both right, it is of course class D, thank you for correcting me.

And regarding the second part of Dreamliner’s post - we currently have many examples of aircraft not flying anymore with certain airline, but still available as regular contracts (Lufthansa’s A300, BA and AA’s B767, Delta’s B777,…), so I assume we could get some leeway here, too, and have Finnair, KLM or Lufthansa Cargo MD-11 contracts (if it eventually was to be added) :sweat_smile:.
