Turns out it might be more, have you seen the prices on Aircraft Model Store increasing quite a bit each month? It’s over Ā£50 for an A320…

Might swap over to Aviation Retail Direct for preorders, about £5 cheaper.

Yeah i noticed that, i found bedfordshire diecast to be the cheapest

Yeah I think I’m going to start buying my models from elsewhere, my Wizz A321neo last month cost just shy of Ā£50 and I’m not paying more for an A320. Might start going to Aviation Retail Direct as they don’t charge for preorders until they release. Considering I’ve had a discount code I accidentally claimed ages ago, Aircraft Model Store does prove to be the cheapest this time round so think I’ll go to them again this time.

try gemini jets? i got my emriates A380-800 from there

Same, I got my ā€œblue expoā€ a380 from Gemini 1:200 scale. I’m not sure about 1:400

Yes, far better than the gemini one

The 1:400 gemini a380 is not great, the wings are not curved at the back and the nose looks off

Anyone know how good the Gemini200 A321neo is? The 1:400 scale one looks…not nice to say the least but is the 1:200 version better?

Imagine the 1/400 one but bigger, wouldn’t waste your money on it mate.

I’m assuming you’re referring to the Jet2 one, if so I’ve seen its printing isn’t very good. The older Gemini Airbus moulds are better, these days they aren’t good at all in my opinion, hence why most people seem to go to NG despite their poor window line printing at times as the overall look and quality is vastly better.

Had a look online and it was extremely mixed, some of them looked spectacular others looked like the had been melted. Cheers for that, looks like I’m getting 2 737s…

The older models they made (like the Gemini200 Thomas Cook A321) are pretty good, but, unless there isn’t an alternative, I wouldn’t bother with a lot of Gemini stuff.

Unfortunately they are really the only ones, as NG as more concerned with making each and every airline that is in the US or China.

I’ll most likely order the Gemini200 TUI 737 MAX thats due to come out but not sure what else to get, may try get a good second hand A321 or wait until they eventually do an Easyjet A320.

I wouldn’t get your hopes up for Gemini doing easyJet, keep a watch on JC Wings for them. I think J-Fox and Inflight200 make decent European narrowbodies though, I’ve seen a Thomas Cook 757-300, TUI 757, Monarch 757 and other stuff, goes for cheap on eBay as well.

This 737 could be my last 1:200 scale model if I’m honest, the variation is much better with 1:400 but we will see what occurs with releases in the future.

Being honest I’d just swap out for 1/400 anyways, you can pretty much get 2 models for the price of one and have a lot more of them. Only issue with 1/400 is inconsistencies with moulds and the quality of a manufacturer, granted these problems seem to be occurring in 1/200 as well.

Wouldn’t even go for 1/500, Herpa models look really rough lately and are very basic compared to 1/400. 1/600 is cheap and you get some interesting stuff, although it’s all pretty old now and a lot of it isn’t in the best condition.
