The question is, did you make a suggestion for it? ![]()
You bet I did ![]()
How much are they? Can’t say I’ve ever looked into it.
Only one I can find in stock on any website is in Canada, so going to get 2 models, shipping is more then the actual model, but it’s around 25-35 pounds, good deal.
Also made an order for these:
Apparently they both work better with 400 scale, lets hope thats the case!
They do work really well, I can confirm that from past experience with them. I recently got the MAN tower by Avgeek Models whilst it was on offer. When it comes to details like buildings and vehicles I’d always say get them whilst you can, especially if there’s an offer on.
In the case of vehicles and buildings (depending on what you do regarding buildings on the airport), it’s always better to have too many than not enough. I’d prefer to overspend slightly on getting more than I need and then sell off any spares I won’t need if I can’t find a use for them elsewhere.
Yeah all the towers look great from what I’ve seen, I’ve got no problem with spending the £70 or so on the GSE as they come with Jetways, and with the remote stands, I can use those at the terminal, so should all work well!
Hi all! This is me at the Amsterdam Aviation Collector’s Fair 2025 ![]()
I have a large variety of scale models in my collection, mostly 1/500, 1/400 and 1/200, but I do fancy some 1/100 models at the time.
Wow! That’s brilliant! Any UK regional aircraft?
Some are broken…
which sucks but I still like them
I have some British Airways (733/744) in 1/200 and some in 1/500, and a BMI A332 in 1/400 ![]()
That KLM is begging for an engine ![]()
Where did you get those planes? Are they expensive?
Most of them are basic snapfix planes, sold on board during flights. Only diecast model is Virgin A346. KLM’s were bought at Amsterdam airport shop.
There are also lesser quality models of a chinese brand, like that Lufthansa A380. Very cheap planes sold at toy shops.
The bigger size Pegasus and Izair planes were sold during flights, too. But the rare ones I mentioned are no longer sold, I guess.
Ok, wish Air Canada did that! A lot of my planes are Darwin sky marks and my air Canada cargo, Porter D8 and condor are all gimini 1:200… well most of my planes aside from my KLM 777 are 1:200 my KLM is 1:100 I think
