[Multiplayer] - Indicator for inactive connections

[Multiplayer] Indicator for inactive connections

:bullseye: What is your suggestion?
We have one big Problem: We can not indicate, if a contract with another Player is actively handeled or not. If you have a lot Planes, like i have at IAD for example, there will be lot planes, not coming back in months.

So what i would need:
Any Type of indicator, wich time the airplane retuned to your airport the last time or how long it is waiting at the other players airport.
I think the best would be, a timer, for how long a plane is waiting on another Airport.

Also very important:
A sorting feature, to sort for longest inactive plane, most time not handeled.
Additionally, a button to automatically cancle contracts with a given time, like cancle all contracts wich were not handeled for 100 days (you can make it like a slide control to choose how many days or weeks, like we have for the Time at the Tower Manager).
That feature could be a nice feature to cost some silverplanes, maybe 1000.

:hammer_and_wrench: How would it work in the game?
Very easy.
Your could add a small information on the plane in the fleet manager, next to the State. For now, we have State: At GRU or Ready to Land or Flying to SCL. You just could change that to: At GRU for 25 days.

The sorting could be just a button on the top right corner, where we already can sort for size or cargo.
The differnece to the other sortings: This one need to not only hide some planes, it should change the order of the planes, like the most and less time waiting in an order.

:balance_scale: Why is this a good idea?
Well, i think thats very clear.
We need a way to get rid of inactive or even dead connections. Mostly for players who have more then 100 planes at an airport, i think at this point its getting to be very hard to know, wich one is on someone who stopped playing at an airport or is just waiting for very very long.

I think i have more then 100 planes at IAD wich are waiting from 2023, but i cant find all of them.

One more reason:
I really like to support smaller players or players i didnt know that well.
But i stopped that almost completely, because its really hard to clean your flight, when someone stopped playing.

So i think, thats a very important Feature for active players
Tell me your opinion about that in the comments section

They said somewhere recently they’re reconsidering this. The problem is that apparently tracking all the planes uses excessive server or device resources.

I think they dont really need to actively track them, they just can give each plane after each handling something like a timestamp.

Similar to the stats the planes get like how much you earned in total or how many times you handeled it on time or with a delay.

Well they figured out a way to do it. Maybe if you attend the next Q&A they will explain what changed.

Yess, i think that was a fast request, someone already requested it and the devs just finished it 24h later lol

It had been requested many times for a long time. They said it was too intensive but the timers didn’t start at 0 so the info had always been stored and just needed to be displayed. Maybe they’ll explain, maybe we’ll never know.
