How did you describe a Canadian winter so well

Efficiency is king here, busses take more time then just directly going onto the plane I guess, I don’t really know myself

I agree with this wholeheartedly. I’ll also echo that when I board CRJ7s in the USA on United Express, they modify the jet bridge with a metal bridge, but you never leave the overhang on the jet bridge and get exposed to the elements at most airports!

Only airports that I haven’t boarded using a jet bridge in the USA are:

Denver – CRJ200, walked from terminal onto plane. No busses needed.
Washington Dulles – ERJ135, walked from terminal onto plane. No busses.
Newark – B738, remote stand, took a bus… very odd in my experience

And a bunch of other airports that don’t have jet bridges, so it is irrelevant haha. I like small towns!

But I’d say yes – remote stands are a strange concept in our airports. We are far more likely on small planes to walk out of the terminal straight onto the plane than take a bus.

Is there a way for us to tap on a gate to see it’s schedule (arrivals and departures? I like to spread my airlines out and utilize all of the gates. Is this possible?

Definitely something that has been requested or something similar

While everywhere has rain and wind, remember US has both extreme heat and extreme colds, so that could be a part of it haha.

Since you bring up that point, I’m thinking our airports might be more intensive on terminal infrastructure and less tarmac, therefore less parking stand space. Like NGO for example would be an incredible no no—we could fit like 60 more gates in there! :joy:

Can we get full-length takeoffs in SAN? The runway is very short as it is, seems weird to have 747s doing intersection takeoffs.

Also, while in SAN, could we get a couple more levels please?

I think this game should be on PC. A lot of many people want this game on PC. This game is popular and its time to add this at PC. It could also be possible to connect your phone account to your computer.

Bluestacks. I play on bluestacks(a bit iphone) and if you have an android it can be easily connected

And lightning storms. Planes can land but no one can get on or off for an hour or two.

I’m sorry I had to.

Jokes aside, you have a fair point. Even though we probably don’t want to admit it the US is very self centered and all about finding the most convenient option.

Hence why jetbridges are used so extensively. I’ve never seen anything bigger than an E190 boarded without a jetbridge unless it was for some unusual reason

It won’t happen until the client the devs use is also compatible on PC, which it isn’t yet.

This is at heart a mobile game, so my understanding is the devs aren’t going to spend a lot of time moving to a platform it isn’t designed for unless they can easily do so.

In the meantime, you’ll have to make do with Bluestacks

the bluestacks thing tho crashes the game if u have a terrible PC

Saying that I’ve just discovered MAN uses 2 jetways to board 757-200s. Saw this in an onboardHD video, maybe that’s something the devs could consider for WOA. I know it’s done on 757-300s but not sure if it’s common practice.

I think irl they always do it if possible just to speed things up. But yea if the gate has a double jetway in game that would be cool to connect to the 757.

How about a web version?

No clue, I’m not a developer, I’m just passing along what they said.

Based on the little I know about web games, I’m gonna say probably not. But I don’t know for sure

Hi Dev,

As I remember, in the old WoApedia, I could see the technical information of each aeroplane (Seat capacity, range, etc.) and the airline’s destination. But in the new one, I cannot. I love the way you organize the shows in the new WoApedia; however, can you add more features as in the last version?
Thanks you very much.
Looking forward to hearing from you soon
