New Game Features

You can also buy contacts for the WoApedia. That’s what I do with excess wollars at IAD, then just cancel them after handling.

I would like to be able to close (or ignore) stands.

I would like to edit stands, if I ourchased M to start and later upgraded to L sometimes I’d like to toggle OFF the M part, so it only shows as available for L.

PRG was the first “Big” airport, made a long time ago.
Also by far the slowest airport in the game.

It has a few odd bugs that need fixing, long taxi time being one of them. The absolute IMPOSIBILITY of scoring 100% on the parking game and most X and many L gates is a close second.

In defense of the developers airport operations vary from country to country. I’ll concead that X planes may be required to use a further exit at one airport than another dues to airport rules which are based on their topology (and elevation) as well.

Now for every plane top and bottom beacon light

Not every plane has a top and bottom beacon light, I don’t think at least

My wish is that they make a new airport titled “Boneyard”. It could look like a desert and have tons of open slots for planes. Then we could send planes there to store them for future use. Maybe have some sort of “prep” time instead of passengers if we want to fly planes back to a specific airport. This option would eliminate the need for hangars at each airport! Send this to the devs. lol

This thread started with the same suggestion .

An more extended proposal can be found at post 545 or this same thread:

Two more suggestions that would likely be welcomed by those who want as much realism in WoA as possible.

The first one is the introduction of Summer And Winter schedules. Let’s take Innsbruck as an example of what I mean.

Transavia operates its AMS-INN flights between mid-November and mid-April to bring skiers to Austria. From the end of April until mid-October TUI is flying from INN to several Greek islands so that Austrians can enjoy a nice summer holiday.

The introduction of Summer and Winter schedules would allow these contracts to rotate, without having to manually terminate the Transavia contract to free up slot allocation for TUI.

The second suggestion follows up on the first, the introduction of a slot frequency per contract.

Using the above-mentioned situation Transavia would have a daily flight to Amsterdam in Winter (7 slots), while TUI could have a twice-weekly flight to Heraklion on Monday/Thursday, to Rhodes on Tuesday/Friday, to Kos on Wednesday/Saturday and a weekly flight to Corfu on Sunday.

If you’re at maximum contract capacity for the airport you can then swap the single Transavia destination for the four TUI destinations and still have the same number of flights in a certain time frame.

Both of these would require an almost entire rework of the contracts system, which I doubt the devs will want to do

Oh I am sure that it’s not going to be the #1 on the devs backlog anytime soon as it could potentially be a lot of reprogramming. It’s only a suggestion for a new game feature

Could be a simple as adding a value “0” for all existing contracts to make the system think it’s daily and then allow people to change it (to “1” and “4” for Monday/Thursday). But again, I don’t know the programming behind the contracts and it’s just an idea that popped up tonight.

Suggestions that i want to see in world of airports like new airports like charles de gaul and mia airport also new ground equipment and etc…

Variable boarding/deplaning times based on number of jetbridges/stairs

In real life, boarding time is determined by many things, including how airlines group people to board, how people stop and stow their bags, or people asking someone to switch seats, and the most important one, how many people need to board, witch is already replicated in game. But the second most important one is how many entrances to a plane are open, which is clearly visible, but does not effect anything in game.

So I suggest if a plane is boarding via two doors, the boarding time is reduced by around 40% from the usual time. Or for large aircraft that usually use 2, increased boarding time by 40%. I think this is a good change to improve realism in the game, and it would give people more motivation to not put an a large plane like an a380 in a single jetbridge gate, and for people who want longer handling times, that’s possible!

Please don’t suggest reducing the times that are already short to begin with :joy:
Agreed to increase remote stand handling though

yall are complaining too much about this stuff, however in the old version the times wwee good.

Last time I checked (probably back in the 1.0 days) stair loading was slower than jet bridge loading. Can anyone confirm or deny?

High lift loaders are also used on the A320 and A321, so I think it would be good to introduce them to this game too.

Bring back Luke Air A332 as a permanent contract.

Pre 2.0 you could get a Luke Air A332 from punta Cana to Prague. In 2.0 it’s now exclusively a event contract only ever seen at Prague so please bring this beautiful plane back

I may send them an Email because they’ve brought back contracts before like the L planes from Madrid to Prague

I think that was actually a side effect of them making it possible for Iberia Ls to reach LHR, as Finnair had the same thing, and bri also has Ls from all three airports

I think they need to add more liveries to the E170/175, its good models but they never add any to it. They’ve added multiple liveries to the E190 but never to the E170/175. Its not for lack of operators because many operate them like KLM, Airfrance, American and Virgin Australia. If there is a reason can someone please explain
