The Devs probably said that they will do 2 big and a small playable airport

My suggestion will be Skiathos

It is passenger airport only

Skiathos airport is a Holiday airport located in Greece. This airport is known for its really low approach and unlike St Maarten it happens regularly you can get some really good plane spotting if you want to take the risk of falling down or death from jetblast

I doubt this will happen, for the same reason as Phuket, that it is so similar to st Martin. Also European. And the devs will know what the next 4-5 airports are and have ideas for the future so I doubt this happens any time soon

I do hope that they add Manchester Airport. It is commonly ranked as one of the best airports in the world for planespotting and also hosts over 150+ destinations from over 50 countries. It is also the only airport in the UK outside London that has two full length commercial runways. With the T2 expansion and new piers being added along with it, more traffic will enter the airport to hopefully be able to accommodate 50+ million people every year, along with being able to fit more A380-800’s onto its grounds. (It currently only has one suitable gate in T1 that is built for the A380).

Just be aware that there’s already too many airports in Europe so devs won’t be adding any new ones for quite a while.

I’d like Manchester as well as it’s my closest international airport and I’ve been spotting there many times. But i agree with the others. We just got LHR and we already have 4 other European airports which are INN, BRI, PRG and LEJ. So yeah like they say i wouldn’t expect any other European airport for awhile.

I think that in near future they don’t add new airports from Europe… I saw an interview when they say that the target is to have at least one airport in each continent…

You’re right, it would be a great addition to the game. It’s my local airport (along with LBA), and has a huge array of different airlines, destinations local and long haul.
But, have to agree with the others, it’s not going to be even on the radar for the foreseeable as the devs try to fill global gaps.
I think after Sydney, we will see South America, South Africa, and potentially another one in Oceania, Indian Ocean or the far east to follow

Being my local airport, I’d love to see MAN in game (I mean the vast majority of liveries to populate it are already in game). However if another European airport was added I wouldn’t be too surprised if it was somewhere like the Canary Islands to spread flights out from the main cluster of airports

There are a lot of great airports in the canaries. For me I only been to Fuerteventura and Gran Canaria. But if they would add the Canaries my guess it would probably be Gran Canaria for the 2 runways or even Lanzarote for the great planespotting but either way if they do decide to add a European airport that my guess

A couple people were theorizing that the “global
superstar” airport the devs referred to a while back was FNC since it’s named after Ronaldo. That seems likely to me.

Personally I’d want Gran Canaria since it’s bigger and would bring some UATC nostalgia.

Could you please stop the argument. (Well it’s not really an argument but still) But if I had to choose i would go with @ukplanespotter757 with TFS and ACE playable airport idea (especially ACE as it has a great place to planes spot) And to be absolutely honest the game despritly need ACE, ADB, ZTH and DLM as they are Holiday airports

Runway 01/19 is the main runway in use with a length of 3054m and 10,020ft. Would be able to accommodate S, M, L, X planes. The airport also has another runway but I think one would be sufficient for the game base on the size. Can treat the second runway like in the case of PRG.

5a. Icelandair, Play airlines, many European and US airlines are serving this airport
6. Can start with domestic flights in Iceland with destinations like AEY, EGS, IFJ
Short-haul routes to Scandinavia (like OSL, ARN, CPH), Greenland (GOH), UK and Ireland, France, Germany, etc.
Long-haul routes to Canadian and US destinations (JFK, IAD, YYZ, etc.)
7. One of the most unique and beautiful places on Earth and also a great place for aviation. With a size similar to PRG (or maybe a little smaller), this airport can reach many cities in Europe and North America. While the majority of planes are 737 and 320 size, small planes such as Icelandic Dash 8s and Large planes from US/Canadian airlines can make a good balance. Vegetation and coastline could be shown in game to make a great atmosphere of Iceland. Would be fantastic if occasional northern lights are available (although I see this could be tough)
