True, also a change of scenery. It would be very cool to be able to see Mt Hood in the background

A size S-only airport that can be used as a “tutorial” airport. Instead of INN, this will be the first airport that players will have unlocked. The passenger terminal has six stands and there can be cargo stands on the apron on the other side of the runway. Players can go through about 20 levels on this small airport before progressing to larger airports.
What would they do with Innsbruck then? You can’t just delete an airport. And two tutorial airports would be piontless.
Yeah I’d rather just go to INN tbh
INN doesn’t get deleted, it’s just next in sequence. Like how BRI comes after INN.
That’s kind of a slow progression though. S/M airport, S/M airport, and only then do you get L aircraft.

5a. Spirit (Operating Base) JetBlue (Focus City) Silver Airways (Operating Base) Southwest (big presence) Delta (none technically, but big presence) Allegiant (Operating Base) Air Canada, Air Transat, Alaska Airlines, American, Azul, Bermudair, Copa, El Al, United, Flair, Frontier (All have regular flights to FLL) and for Cargo UPS and FedEx have flights.- Boston, Kennedy, LaGuardia, Newark, Dulles, Raleigh-Durham, Washington-National, Baltimore, O Hare, Cincinnati, Dallas, Houston, Atlanta, Tel Aviv, Campiñas, São Paulo, Nassau, Saint Martin, Medellín, Cancún, San Diego, Las Vegas, San Diego, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle, Salt Lake City…
- FLL is a melting pot of different airlines, looking to bring passengers to South Florida and to bring passengers onwards to flights into the Caribbean. The dual runway setup makes it perfect for World of Airports along with the many consolidated terminals, which also allow for terminal expansion, when needed. The airport itself could also allow the void of South America to be filled, by enabling A320 Neo family aircraft to fly to those destinations.
Not going to get my hopes up, just had some free time and wanted to share my dream airport in game!

Vancouver International Airport (YVR, CYVR) is an international airport located Sea Island in Richmond serving the city of Vancouver in the Lower Mainland region. It is located 12 km (7.5 mi) from Downtown Vancouver. YVR is the second busiest by passenger traffic (24.9 million behind Toronto Pearson International Airport in Ontario. As a trains Pacific hub, the airport has more direct flights to China than any other airport in North America or Europe. It is a hub for Air Canada and WestJet. Vancouver International Airport is one of eight Canadian airports that have US Boarder Pre-clearance facilities.
It is also one of the few major international airports to have a terminal scheduled float planes!!
As much as I’d love that I think RSW is more realistic. It’s a medium airport that can have L planes.
I’d prefer something like this or Tampa tho! Totally agree
Float Planes are a huge desire of mine. I’d love to have both Anchorage and Vancouver for that reason!
I have been on float planes from Victoria to VYR and the float planes fleet called Harbour Air is the largest fleet in North America.
HNL has a nice lineup of seaplanes too
Bro is finding every reason to get honolulu
why we should have jfk in the game
1 it cool
2 big airport
3 have 4 runway
4 cargo
5 lots of terminal
6 by ocean
7 very cool
8 it have twa hotel
9 it is very big
10 lots of planes
Big airports aren’t necessary a good thing, they can tank performance, and often is unrealistic to have the level of detail you’d have at a small airport, as there is so much more to model. We also areal have a pretty big airport in the East Coast of USA. It also rules out airports like BOS or ATL.
Yea if we got one in the Us then it would be in Alaska Hawaii or in the middle of the country. (Something like Indianapolis for instance)
Correct. Shamelessly, I might add
I don’t want a big airport just for the sake of a big airport… I’d like for new airports to expand the gameplay experience in some way. I don’t know if JFK does this…
I also agree with other posters – big airports can’t be modeled in a way that is as detailed so don’t tend to look as nice as say, SXM, which is still probably the nicest model in the game.
SXM is also my favourite airport by far. Everytime when I play SXM it feels like I’m actually inside the tower. LHR is too big and is always empty because of the 1 runway landing. I haven’t unlocked SYD yet but that size airport is perfect I guess, in between a small and big airport.
We already have iAd which is like an hour away
