Airport overview
Summary
Runways: 18, 36
Operational runway in WoA: 18 (T/O) & (LDG)
This is runway 18, where both takeoffs and landings take place.
Accepted airplane categories
NGO is able to accept all the current aircraft types:
Passenger: A,B,C,D,E,F
Cargo: A,B,C,D,E,F,G
A and B planes:
The only A-class aircraft, the DHC-6, is available as a local contract with the airline First Flying.
B-class aircraft are plentiful, with both major Japanese airlines, JAL (E170) and ANA (DH8D), as well as their subsidiaries ANA Ibex (CRJ7) and Japan Air Commuter (SF34, AT46 & AT76) and Fuji Dream Airlines (E175) operating as local airlines with them.
C Class: The most common C class aircraft at NGO are A320s and 737s. Local airlines ANA and JAL both operate 737s along with Solaseed Air, with ANA, Jetstar Japan, Peach and Starflyer operating A320 family aircraft. JAL also operates the Embraer 190 locally.
Regionally, the area is swimming with 737 and A320 family aircraft, with a healthy dose of E-Jet’s, from the likes of South Korea, China, Taiwan, Hong Kong, Philippines and Southeast Asia as well as from India.
D Class: The number of 757s and A300s is low, but there are plenty of MD-11s.
757s include British Airways from SIN and New Pacific from ANC for pax and Asia Pacific, China Post, North-Western Cargo and YTO from Guam and China respectively.
Thai’s A300 from BKK is the only pax option with DHL, Air Hong Kong, FedEx and UPS A300s available for cargo from ANC & HKG.
MD-11s are available mainly as freighters from the likes of FedEx, UPS, EVA Air, Martinair and World but you can just get KLM’s MD-11 pax from AMS and Worlds MD-11 from the US West Coast and ANC.
You can find many passenger 767s across Asia with both ANA and JAL being able to operate them on international routes, plus Air Niugini (from Papua New Guinea), British Airways (from SIN) available for pax and some cargo options from DHL and UPS at HKG plus YTO from China. In addition to that, 767s from North America can be found with United’s, American’s and Delta’s 767 family aircraft being able to reach NGO from the West Coast. From Europe you’re limited in range with only Condor and UIA 767-300s just reaching for pax flights and DHL and Maersk for freight. JAL and ANA’s 763F’s can just make it to Mexico with ABX able to reach from Honduras with their 762F.
E, F, and G planes: Most of the world is within reach except a small part of South America including GRU, most of Brazil and Argentina. The majority of the further flung routes are operated by 787s and A350 variants as JAL operates both and ANA the 787.
F-class aircraft are available as local (at HKG) and international NCA 747-8Fs, regional Korean Air 747s and A380s and then the majority of European, Australian, Middle Eastern and American F aircraft.

Here are the full airport overviews, with and without purchasable stands. These were created by Geo and are up to date as of 05/11/25.
Limitations
Similarly to BRI & PRG, NGO is limited by its single runway. In addition to that, in the beginning using Terminal 1 North, the taxi time can be slow due to the distance, as well as any cargo operations, especially D class and larger, having the longest taxi routes. The airport has a good amount of both large and small cargo and passenger stands which can give you flexibility in how you wish to play, as well as the disadvantage with the long taxi times for cargo upon arrival, being switched for departure with cargo aircraft not having to go too far, whereas Terminal 2 passenger aircraft have a long distance to cover whilst crossing paths with arriving aircraft exiting the runway, slowing down your arrivals.
Above is another creation by Geo showing the taxiing directions for each stand and for the runway.
This is still a work in progress ![]()
