Why should this airline be added?
A regular airline at INN as well as the rest of Europe, founded by Niki Lauda to be his new airline as the last one had been acquired by Austrian, Lauda Air, in 2000. This airline was acquired by Air Berlin in 2004 and then merged completely in 2011 with the Niki aircraft slowly disappearing after that. During Air Berlin’s bankruptcy in 2017, the Niki assets were sold back to Niki Lauda to form part of his new airline, Laudamotion, which was then sold on to Ryanair. It has an interesting history, a fantastic livery, a close connection to the games first airport and would celebrate the life of an F1 legend with its addition. Plus, for new players it would be a snazzy local airline for them to operate, maybe replacing Ryanair in that role which shouldn’t really be there.Niki destination map (Air Berlin era so the INN routes had gone sadly),
