JJet Italia has announced that they are taking all of their ATR43 aircraft out of storage to fly high demand routes across italy!
JJet has so far taken 1 of 5 aircraft in storage back to service! The first of these has been operating flights to venice all week. JJet say they hope to start operations to milan by the end of the month!

Today, 15 757-200 and 5 757-300 aircraft began a new lease from horsepower leasing, becoming the first large lease for the company since itâs inception 2 months prior
These 20 planes are bound for Channex International, whose own 757 was recently grounded due to maintanence issues that were being held off.

Earlier today some Channex International 757s and Eco Aviation a300s landed at SNN at the former Skylines Maintenance and Parts hangers which shut down in October 2024 after parent company collapse these hangers have since been sold to unknown company which could now be now Eco Engineering although a statement about it was not made at the time of writing this it could mean that former Skylines Maintenance and Parts staff could return but need to find out and see.

JJet has started service to Muscat on their 1st E-190 recently purchased from Air France Hop. The aircraft is so new its yet to be painted yet! This further strengthens IAGâs access to italy! This will also have the codeshare deal with the flexi alliance (it will also be parking at the flexi gates at the airport) connecting more of italy with the world.

Today marks the first day of operation for the new joint partnership between Tranquility and All World.
Outback Link is a new airline based out of syndey specializing in connecting the outback with the rest of the world. Itâs fleet is made up of 15 BAe 146-300 aircraft, supplied from Horsepower Austrailia, and they will be operating under the callsign âKangarooâ
This joint specialization was brought to the table by All World Alliance member Hyperspeed air and Tranquility Alliance member Horsepower air, both of which had been using codeshares between Muscat and Sydney for 2 months at the time of proposal.
The first flight was today, with âKangaroo 442â departing Syndey from Gate D1 to Wagga Wagga

In recent days, the airline, MithFly, has announced that they will be retiring their only Airbus A318-100 off from Sydney Operations. This Airbus A318-100 has been doing many flights between Sydney and Nadi in Fiji. However, recent turmoil came following an emergency landing at Nadi on this Airbus A318-100 after a bird strike.on final approach damaged parts of the left engine.
This Airbus A318-100 was built in 2008. However, as the age of retirement for planes in Australia is edging closer, MithFly Australia has now decided to transfer this Airbus A318-100 to Bangkok for âMithFly Asiaâ operations commencing from August 2025 until its eventual planned retirement in 2034. The route and date is still to be determined.
The Airbus A318-100 is now under repairs at Nadi and will be going to Melbourne for further maintenance before returning to service on November 26th and re-serving the Nadi-Sydney route.
This Airbus A318-100 will be replaced by 3 newer fuel-efficient Airbus A319 Neo on this route.
The Airbus A319 Neo will operate on this same route between Sydney and Nadi from April 2025.
The Airbus A319 Neo will also operate on 4 other routes between Sydney and Port Moresby, Hervey Bay, Broome and Cairns
Along with the A319 Neo, 8 Airbus A320-200 aircraft have already been ordered, with seven still waiting for its ferry flight to Sydney.
The first Airbus A320 aircraft, VH-M3A, a 2011 Built Airbus A320-200, has been delivered and has been seen standing at Stand D93 before the first official test flights. The first A320-200 Mithfly flight is expected to take place on the 13th of December 2024 between Sydney and Canberra.

Virgin Atlantic Secret 747 Aircraft Spotted at Bangkok International Airport
A concept design has been spotted at gate s118 at Thailandâs BKK airport. The 747CONC design concept was a concept plane designed by Sud Aviation in partnership with Boeing and Virgin Atlantic, its goal was to be able to travel at Mach 2.3, while carrying the load and having the comfort of a typical 747. Only two were ever made, and only one being in service as the original aircraft VS9253 had an engine fire resulting in crash with a total hull loss. Itâs incredibly rare to spot one of these aircraft, and avgeeks are flooding to spot this aircraft departing tomorrow at 0800. The Thailand Prime Minister Paetongtarn Shinawatra will depart to LHR to conduct sensitive discussions among other powerful leaders about the ongoing war in Ukraine.

JJet Italia to cease operations in the coming weeks
JJet italia has announced they will be bought by ITA. This purchase will happen on the 31st of this month. All operations will finish on that day. JJet closes their italian market to âexpandâ it has been announced the JJet italia after being bought will move to the Czech Republic and start at their soon to be new base in prague.
This is what the CEO of the JJet group says:
âWe are sad to see our italian operations come to an end but this is a new chapter for JJet! We were going to stay in italy but there was just too much competition. (United delta American ITA all to new york)
So we decided to move to prague. As much as we wanted to stay in bari we just couldnât. Our offices will still stay in London however.â

JJet have announced that when they move to the Czech Republic they will leave IAG. Hereâs what was said to the members of IAG.
Dear members of IAG,
I will be stepping down from the alliance on the 31st of this month. Thanks for being great partners its been an honour to be with you lot but it just doesnât fit JJetâs ambitions. Thanks for everything.
